Animals, Animals, Animals

Just picked up this cute stamp set yesterday - Woof Woof from Recollections.  It has 3 of the cutest dogs and some sentiments, along with paw prints, dog bone, dog dish, and fire hydrant.  Oh, the possibilities with this set!

I just wouldn't be me if I didn't make a dog card for the Operation Write Home Our Daily Bread Designs February Challenge - Animals.  I think he turned out pretty good.  What friend wouldn't be happy getting this card in the mail, especially if they are a "dog person"?

Core'dinations dark brown cardstock
DCWV "The Pets stack" printed paper
Coredinations green paper from my scrap pile
1/8 " Brown Offray ribbon
Die Cut Sentiment from Cuttlebug "Friends Forever"
Bulldog stamped with Versamark and heat set with "lettuce" embossing powder

Then I also made another animal card with one of my favorite Lawn Fawn Stamp/Die sets, and used a sentiment I also picked up yesterday.  Guess you figured it out.  I did a little bit of shopping yesterday.  Not much, but a little....

I love embossing folders so I started with just the sentiment and the embossed cardstock.  It just wasn't enough, so I added the twine, and the little popped up Owl from my LF set.  The embossed owls still weren't standing out, so I added some rhinestone eyes.  I think that did it.

Stampendous sentiment stamped with VersaMark and heat set

  2. Yes, I would enjoy receiving the doggie card even though I am a cat-person at heart. And the owls! So creative.
