Pastel Miss you cards

Way outside my comfort zone.  Dry embossing, die cutting, stamps, ribbon, using some of the tiny little die cut pieces, and a bit of hand drawing.  Did you know that the sharp end of a wooden cuticle stick works just fine to draw a line?  That's a lot of different techniques for me to use for one little card.

My friend, and partner in crime (cardmaking!) Bobbi,  picked up this Spellbinders Pendants-Tulips Die for me somewhere for $4 or $5.  A bargain, right?  Was not sure what to do with it, so I cut some pieces, then searched around on the web, got a few ideas, and this is what I came up with.

Then I had to try it some more because I had this cool tulip embossing folder

A little pastel for my taste, but I wanted to try to use these dies and I want it to be spring!

Spellbinders Shapeabilities Pendants - Tulips dies,  The Paper Studio Tiny Dots Embossing folder, Darice Spring Tulips Embossing folder, pearls and blue jewels

  1. Fabulous job with both cards! If I have to choose, I think I like the yellow one best! Great job layering on both cards.
